The Shooting Stars Netball Club is a sporting club for both junior boys and girls. We strive to enrich the lives of our community through the sport of netball.

Forming in 2015, SSNC is located in the heart of the City of Whittlesea within Melbourne’s Northern growth corridor. Based in Mernda, SSNC is home to more than 70 participants with this number quickly growing.

SSNC currently offers a competitive local Netball Competition, NetSetGo program for our up-and-coming little netballers (this is beginning in 2023) and school holiday netball clinics.

 

Our vision is to be inclusive for all juniors players and in 2025 commence a senior club where players, supporters and members can come and feel part of a family while learning the skills, techniques and most of all enjoyment out of playing netball. We aim to build strong foundations within our community whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle and strongly encouraging all involved to have fun with friends through the sport of netball. Our Coaches to have a program designed to provide additional individual excellence and high-performance outcomes through our recognised pathways.

Game Day:

Saturday Mornings at: Mernda Central College Outside courts, enter off Trevi Drive Mernda.

Times : between 8.30am to 12.30pm

Training:

Term 1 and term 4

At: Mernda Central College Outside courts, enter off Trevi Drive Mernda

Time:

Under 9’s, Under 11’s and Under 13’s at 5-6pm

Under 15’s and Under 17’s 6-7pm

 

Term 2 and term 3

At: Marymede College, Primary school side on the undercover court.  ENTER off Williamson Rd where Afterschool Care gate.

Time:

Under 9’s, Under 11’s and Under 13’s at 5-6pm

Under 15’s and Under 17’s 6-7pm

Required:  Drink bottle, great attitude, and smiles.
